Deck the Halls!

Tim set up the Christmas Tree last night (and most of the other decorations). I love that my husband loves to put up the Christmas decorations! We had debated whether we would put up any decorations because we won't be here for the holiday. But, now that we did I'm glad. It makes it more festive around here. We've been really busy the last couple of months, hence, the lack of posting.

Last Sunday we celebrated our one year anniversary! I guess we are officially not newlyweds anymore :( However, we will still continue to act like newlyweds :) My parents were here and they took us out to a nice brunch at the campus golf club resort.

Tim has two more weeks of his CAD class. I'm proud of him for obtaining a new skill that will look great on his resume. He'll have to start looking for a new job soon. Yay! I've been busy with the end of the semester work that is required of me. I have one more week of classes. Another Yay! I am handing out my final copies of my project proposal on Tuesday and will present my project to my committee on December 16th. Wish me luck! I am so glad that this phase of the project is almost over. Next semester, I will TA again for Human Sexuality and work on my project. It will be a welcome break from all of the classwork.

We will be back in Michigan from December 22-29. We can't wait to see our familes again!

I've been doing Weight Watchers for the past couple of months and am down 13.5lbs now. I realized after Julie's wedding in July that I was unhappy with the way I looked and that I had gained so much weight so I decided to do something about it. Tim and my friends here have been a great support and that makes it a lot easier to follow the program.

We hope all is well with our loyal readers!
